Note + Rain Photo Contest Entry


I'm certainly not the greatest photographer out there but I thought I'd enter this anyways. 

Micaela over at Note + Rain is holding a fun contest where you submit a picture you've taken. The winner gets a custom blog design by her, which is pretty cool if you ask me. =)

This is the picture I'm entering. I haven't posted it anywhere else, besides heavily editing it and turning it into my new button. 
This is the SOOC version, and I quite like it. It's my neighbor's flag from his backyard. I've got a slight obsession with trying to capture it fully unfolded in the wind. Alas, I haven't achieved that yet. :P

    I love the silhouette of the trees against the sunset! :) Lovely photo. Perfectly captures a story of the sun setting on the glory days of a country, if you ask me.....;)
    I CAN SO FEEL YOUR FRUSTRATION TRYING TO CATCH IT UNFURLED. 'Tis incredibly maddening. :P

    I love the photo! I think Im entering too, but I want to take a picture and all there is is dirty snow and mud:(
